Jesus said,"but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well" (Mt 6:33).
When one is asked "how do you get to heaven?" he or she sometimes gives unusual or strange answers. Where do we go to get the correct answers? The basic answer is in the Bible, especially the New Testament. Heaven is God's eternal kingdom. It is where God is. It is where we can go to be with God. There are many teachings in the New Testament regarding heaven and the kingdom of God. It is present, and it is future. It is a place of many rooms for believers. It grows and can accomodate many believers. It is a place of peace and healing. It is a place where we can contnue to live and be productive.

The most important question that anyone can ask is "how do I get to heaven?" This may also be asked, "how can I be saved?"
Jesus first answered these questions as recorded in Mark 1:15. He said, "the time is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." The apostle Paul presented the salvation plan in the book of Romans.(See other links for details).
