WHY DO WE NEED TO GROW?
Jesus said,"but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well" (Mt 6:33).
When one is asked "how do you get to heaven?" he or she sometimes gives unusual or strange answers. Where do we go to get the correct answers? The basic answer is in the Bible, especially the New Testament. Heaven is God's eternal kingdom. It is where God is. It is where we can go to be with God. There are many teachings in the New Testament regarding heaven and the kingdom of God. It is present, and it is future. It is a place of many rooms for believers. It grows and can accomodate many believers. It is a place of peace and healing. It is a place where we can contnue to live and be productive.

The most important question that anyone can ask is "how do I get to heaven?" This may also be asked, "how can I be saved?"
Jesus first answered these questions as recorded in Mark 1:15. He said, "the time is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." The apostle Paul presented the salvation plan in the book of Romans.(See other links for details). Jesus spoke much of hell. It is no place you may wish to be.Why risk it? The heavenly Father and Jesus want you to be saved, but there are steps you must take to achieve it.The basic answer to the question, "how do I grow in Jesus," is to believe in him, be faithful to him and turn away from sin in your life. Avail yourself of everything God has to offer you through his Son, Jesus Christ.

We may be babes in Christ Paul says (1Cor 3 :1-3).
Babes need a formula or some food to grow in faith and practice.
What is the growth formula?
Confession:Confess your sins, believe,and repent (Rom 10:9).
Profession:Profess or tell others you believe(Mt 28:19, Rom 10:15, Acts 1:8).
Concession: Change your lifestyle according to the teachings of Jesus(Col 3:16-17).
Seek and reap: " But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well (Mt 6:33).
Reap and accept the rewards offered by Jesus Christ.(Mt 5:12)    (maximize for buttons)
Read, study, and practice God's word.
WHERE DO WE NEED TO GO?
From babes to mature adults--to saints.
From depravity to heaven(Eph 6:11-18,Luke 12:33).
From being lost to being saved (Jn 3:14-15).
From guilt, shame, depression, sadness, to joy and peace in Christ (Phil 4:6-7).
